Dave is a professor of Marine Science and Conservation in Duke’s Nicholas School of the Environment. He runs the Marine Robotics and Remote Sensing Lab at Duke Marine Lab. His work ranges from the ecology of marine vertebrates to broader marine conservation research.

Molly is a JD/Masters in Environmental Management student at Duke. Her studies tackle the ways in which policy and science interact in marine ecosystems. She is interested in the use of UASs and other aerial tools to monitor the environment, particularly as society grapples with the effects of climate change.
Melissa is an undergraduate student studying Biology and Environmental Policy with a concentration in Marine Conservation. She is interested in conservation of biodiversity and the mitigation of climate change.
Cady is an undergraduate student studying biology and theater studies. She is broadly interested in applications of molecular biology in marine science.
Avery is an undergraduate student in the Nicholas School studying Environmental Science with a minor in Cultural Anthropology. She is interested in biodiversity conservation and its connection to sustainable agriculture.
Eve will be a sophomore at Duke in the fall of 2019 and is planning to major in Environmental Science and Policy with a concentration in Marine Science and Conservation. She's from Tulsa, Oklahoma and enjoys being outdoors, music, and sports.
Haynes is an undergraduate studying Environmental Science and Policy with a minor in Psychology. He is interested in marine conservation and climate change mitigation.
